Before turning in trouble tickets, always check the connections to your device. Can't log in or get to internet or email?-check your network cable into the computer, and to the phone, switch, or wall. If it is wireless, log off and log back on. No power?-again check power connections to and from your device. If it's plugged into a power strip, is the strip on?-is the power strip itself plugged into the wall? Have you restarted your device?
You don't know the number of times we have looked at computers, followed the cables, and the end of the power strip is plugged into itself, or we have followed a network cable from a switch, under and around a desk, and plugged back into the switch, or network cable and/or end of a power cord is not in the socket securely.
